When I couldn't find hardware worthy of my daughter's room, I built it myself.

Scott - Dad · Woodworker · Dinosaur Wall Hook Photographer

You spent weeks on that room.

The paint. The furniture. The little details that nobody else notices but you.

And then you looked at the hardware.

And thought — this isn't good enough.

I know that feeling.

In 2022 I was designing my daughter's first room. Every knob I found was boring and mass-produced. Everything from the major on-line retailers was drop-shipped from China. I literally could not buy anything nice - quality dresser knobs simply did not exist.

So I went into my garage with 1 oak board. A few tools. A daughter about to be born in less than 3 weeks.

I made 12 woodland animal knobs. Sanded them until they felt like butter. Rounded every edge by hand so she could touch them safely.

Other families saw them. Asked if I could make theirs too.

So I quit my engineering job. And started doing this full time.

Our daughter Lily is three now. Her little sister Chloe was just born. They're growing up with the sound of sanding and the smell of oak.

Thousands of families now have a piece from that same shop.

You're not buying from a warehouse.

You're getting something made by a dad who finishes every piece the same way he finished the first ones.

I hope yours is next.
